How will Putin and Russia recover from all of this?  Did the USA, EU and NATO really cut them at the knees for this really desperate move?  What will Ukraine secure for Russia in terms of security when NATO is ALREADY at their borders in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland?

This is completely insane and without value from a strategic perspective, Putin will destroy the Ukraine, ruin millions of lives and accomplish nothing of value for Russia in terms of military defensive position.  Its completely insane from a military point of view.  Zero gain!
