basically someone is right and you want to discredit their theory even though on a gut level it ticks off all the boxes, well just call them “conspiracy quack” and the social media (aka not powered by the same money as big media) jumps all over them and applies the new tool “cancel culture”, works good in countries run by dictators and oligarchies, must have pulled that one from the pages of Mussolini and Hitler and spiffed it up and gift wrapped it for Americans on Speed Dial
