I just accidentally saw a poster for the Green Knight and I knew nothing about it, or that it was a movie (just released) and then I looked at some video clips and it seemed to follow a downward trend ever since King Arthur and The Legend of The Sword was followed by Robin Hood (the cute actor from Kingsmen), both official bombs and now The Green Knight looks murky, dark, visually lackluster and muddy you might say and one look at Rotten Tomatoes and critics are all lauding and praising it as a Must See but, and a big BUT, 😫 SF Gate put up a scathing review of this movie 🤔

Sooo I dont know what to think but I am leaning into believing his piece has merit, A24 Films (the studio) has never produced big epic productions they make small quality movies, family, comedy, thrillers and dramas. The video clips just do not feel like a masterpiece movie, Oscar-winning nor anything near the interesting Game Of Thrones milestone.
It just feels like another movie made for BBC Television, with slightly more polish and a bigger budget.
Oh yeah, I really felt the casting role of Dev Patel as Sir Gawain was ill-suited, in the clips I watched he seemed to lack energy, charisma, drama or heroic qualities. He seemed to have stepped out from some British comedy or family drama movie and not the Kingdom of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Sighhhh it seems like its now a third misfire for the genre. 😒
