Carla Diazit’s not about Ellie although the character strikes me as somewhat amoral, apathetic and lacking a few qualities my friends and some fans call “human”, but that’s not my biggest gripe, its’ what the reviewer quickly glossed over – this storyline has been done, over and over and over. We’ve seen it so many times from Escape from New York to Johnny Mnemonic, 28 Days Later, Contagion, World War Z and so many more in low-budget episodic series format. Yo HBO it’s not THAT original even with The Mandalorian dude!
